Entering New York City is always anticipation. The noise, the hustle and bustle, even the air. There's just something about the city that always give me a little more pep in my step. Fashion Week is one event I can't seem to miss. The second the calendar turns to September, my spirit is called back. Now of course I usually attend for work anyway.

This year, I was privileged to cover the hiTechMODA events hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel NYC. Every time I stay in Times Square, I always book with the Hard Rock. It's one of my favorite stays in the city with the beautiful decor and rockstar memories from music's past. This year, hiTechModa hosted back-to-back runway shows on September 6th and 7th in the heart of Time Square.

I was privileged to see designers Marc Defang, Paaie, Home Spun, Elena Collection LA, Toshimi Pacumbala, Ava the Fashion Studio, By Sarasty, MLC Swimwear and more. After back-to-back shows, Hard Rock Hotel hosted the after party which was, of course, rock n' roll themed. I chose a Born in Stockholm dress, $300, from Sweden.
