Scenes from NYFW February 2025
New York Fashion Week is always an exciting time in New York City. The streets are filled with fashionistas, models, designers, creators, and brands. As a guest and press, I attended many shows, including Runway 7 & The Bureau Fashion Week. Each location provided a unique perspective, scene, and vibe. From sitting in the front row to the impressive, controlled chaos of the press pit, I loved every minute! I met so many interesting people and was truly inspired by what I saw.
Some key takeaways:
Pants & skirts were taken to the next level via cut-outs, shapes, and silhouettes.
Oversized bows and exaggerated fabric at the waist & back and Asian inspired big hats added dimension.
Chic Casual took daily wear to a new place. Streetwear staple Timb’s boots, have shown their staying power.
Bandage feels & sleek fit to outfits, especially dresses.
Super hi-low as a twist and continuation of the trend.
Tops crisscrossed at the neck with an open cutout beneath.
Preppy hues of pink, green, and yellow dazzled in feminine styles.
Aethereal & waif were plentiful for magical fairytale visions.
Goth make-up with black & white hues for an updated 90’s vibe for both men & women.
Music and backdrops created a scene. Some shows offered singers, rappers, and acrobatics.

These looks echo what was seen at the Grammy’s, Golden Globes, and Oscars. Fashion continues to evolve, and the shows take it to a new place. Will you be wearing any of the above?
